Overview

This module equips retail professionals, brand owners and content creators to establish and scale a high-performing social commerce operation across TikTok Shop, Shopee Live. Participants formulate, execute and evaluate social media marketing strategic plans, applying AI applications and automated process design to build efficient, scalable selling workflows, with automation system maintenance principles embedded to sustain ongoing platform performance. Data strategy, data governance, data design and business data analysis capabilities are developed throughout, supported by analytics and computational modelling to interpret performance data and model audience behaviour. Text analytics and processing are applied to measure content impact, and user experience design principles are used to optimise every buyer interaction and drive informed commercial decisions.

Learning Outcomes
  • Analyze the commercial value and emerging technology trends of social commerce platforms, apply data strategy and information gathering and analysis to identify business opportunities.
  • Apply social commerce platform tools — including Shop, LIVE selling, Ads Manager and Creator Marketplace — using automated process design and automation logistics design to set up a scalable end-to-end selling presence.
  • Apply platform community guidelines, data governance obligations and merchant requirements to evaluate content, listings and operational decisions for compliance.
  • Use analytics and computational modelling and user experience design principles to define a target audience and plan advertising campaigns and influencer partnerships using AI applications.
  • Set up and manage a Seller Center storefront and promotional campaigns — applying business data analysis, automation logistics design and data design principles to configure operations within budget and policy constraints.
  • Interpret performance dashboards using text analytics and processing and analytics and computational modelling to generate actionable insights and manage the Affiliate Program to expand sales reach.

Yes! You can use any SkillsFuture Credits you have to pay for course fees.

We highly discourage you from missing any classes since the entire program is designed to be hands-on intensive. There is also a minimum attendance requirement of 75% of training hours for Singaporean and PRs, and 90% of training hours for international students. If you do not meet the 75% attendance requirement, you will not be eligible to enjoy subsidies nor to sit for the assessment. Make sure you block off your time during your training with us or find an intake option that will ensure you do not miss any classes. You will only wish that you had more time in the class!

Tembusu Institute schedules classes on selected public holidays to cater to adult learners. Public holiday classes provide greater flexibility and accessibility for learners who may not be able to attend weekday or regular working-hour classes due to work, family or caregiving commitments. All schedules are planned and communicated clearly to students prior to course commencement.

Class schedules, including lessons conducted on public holidays, are communicated to students prior to course commencement. Students are given the option to select an alternative schedule where classes do not coincide with public holidays at the point of enrolment, subject to availability. If a student chooses to proceed with a schedule that includes public holiday classes and subsequently requests to miss or defer a lesson for personal or religious reasons, standard deferment policies apply. This may include applicable deferment or administrative fees, in accordance with Tembusu Institute's published course terms and conditions. No additional penalties are imposed beyond these stated policies, and the same approach is applied consistently to all students.
